Happy to report that I ordered 2 necklaces on Tuesday 3-17 from one of the St. Patrick's Day shows. Both necklaces came today. Sooner than expected.

Last Sunday I bought a set of Lock N Lock. This order arrived on Wednesday 3-18.  I can't complain about shipping times.

@50Mickey I realize it all depends on WHAT you order and WHEN but I ordered the Heartland chicken on Wednesday and received them today.  I ordered some Philosophy and also received them in 2 days.

I don't mind delayed deliveries. In fact, I expect it. But, I do wish we had a better timeline so I would know if I'll be home or not.

@cjm61  If you go to USPS or UPS site directly, they give you a time frame to expect delivery. In fact, UPS allows you to follow the driver on their route. It shows where they are located in relation to your home.

It's always nice to read a positive post about QVC.

@elated No, I am referring to the timeline before placing the order. Or maybe just letting us know where it is coming from. If it is coming from Ontario I usually receive the items in just 2-3 days. I realize there is tracking AFTER it has been shipped.

@cjm61  Have you ordered from.a company that gave you that information? I would think there are many variables in a timeline. Just out of curiosity.

Yes @elated . Most every other business I order from is very consistent. I know where my items are originated from as that is the case with every order from that particular company. Unlike QVC, most other places have one location. And, although, some take quite a bit longer with shipping than QVC, I know when to expect my order.

If a company doesn't seem to have just one distribution center, most often they are consistent with their timeframe with shipping. QVC is just all over the place. Some items are received in 2 days and other times it can take 10, depending on the location.

@elated    I order clothes from Macy's and Kohl's. I have never seen a timeline given before an item is ordered. Usually I wait until the items that I want are on sale and these items are shipped from stores all over the country.  So I think it would be almost impossible for these companies to give a pre-order timeline for everyone before they know where the item would be shipped.
