Way to many fashion shows. Where are the jewelry shows?

They have certainly stopped the jewerly shows, haven't they? I remember several jewelry lines, and a DMQ show at least once a day.
It must have stopped being profitable.

There is a post about way to many food shows, lol. Now one about to many fashion shows. You cant please everyone.
My opinion is that jewelry is not the big seller it once was.

I don't watch anymore---feel the same way about the fashions----and the make up and the food and the garden----most of the hosts drive me insane anyway---

There has been jewelry shows on other channels. Colleen had a show a couple days, Shophq has had some.

QVC complains that jewelry sales have declined for years.....BUT part of the problem is QVC offers either outrageously priced pieces.....or just more of the same----They only seem to show styles with simulated diamonds (some of us dont want BLING!), or Byzantine styles (outdated trend), or the same ole chains we've seen a million times, and sorry, I'm not a fan of Imperial Gold or Diamonque....
There is hardly any reasonably priced jewelry at all!!!! The only exceptions are Or Paz or Carolyn Pollack or JAI.... If they want to see an increase in jewelry sales they need to show REASONABLY priced jewelry that doesn't require special financing with the Q Card....and something other than just the same ole styles that DON'T SELL!!! QVC used to offer even some very nice fashion jewlery that seems to be absent from their inventory as well.......

The problem is QVC has really limited their rotation of products----Fashion, Food, and Vacuums....and they present these SAME categories over and over and over., and people grab the remote---don't shop and don't buy...Then QVC scratches their heads and wonder while sales keep declining (and this was WAY BEFORE the pandemic)......
More variety is needed. Now I'm willing to give them some slack because of the pandemic and availability of vendors and products....BUT this has been going on for several years now, and we all know the definition of insanity (doing the same thing, and expecting different results...).......

I don't watch the jewelry shows for the reasons so many of you have posted--emphasis on expensive, fake diamonds, tired styles. Perhaps it's also because their reliable base of long-time buyers has already purchased every style of chain and house brand offered and the buyers 45 and under are (in general) not putting their money into fine jewelry or interested in wearing imitations of fine jewelry. It's a tough market.

@SunValley You made some good points. I for one have bought more jewelry from Q over the years and I don't wear half of it. I do like Jai and have bought several bracelets which I wear often. I have a few Diamonique rings from years ago, don't need any more. I like 14K yellow gold pieces, but prices are too high; glad to have what I have and will just wear that. And you are right; the younger generation is not spending their money on high end jewelry.
