I prefer L'Occtaine and shea butter.

Re: Extreme dry hands - What Helps!!

A friend owns a large resale shop.  They are constantly moing racks, hangers, boxes so hands are geting beaten-up, cut and are extremely dry.  Several years ago she told me the best cream ever that she uses and all her employees is Dermasil dry skin treatment.  You can get it at Dollar Tree for $1.25.  This is all I use on my hands and it works great.  Better than any hand cream I have ever purchased.

Go to HSN. Buy Perlier hand cream. Before using, exfoliate your hands and cuticles with baking soda. Skip those stupid scrubs that you can make yourself.

@SilleeMee. @San Antonio Gal.  I just ordered and received a bottle of this stuff.  I can't get it out of the bottle.  It's so thick that even after I left it upside down for a day, it wouldn't flow to the opening.  I tried to squeeze the bottle but the plastic bottle is so firm, It can't be squeezed much.

Yes, I removed the inner liner over the hole.  I stuck my finger inside and managed to get enough for one application; it seems effective.

Do you think the product is just old?  The delivery system needs work.

No, it's not old. That's the way that lotion is...thick as hill. Find a pump that will fit that bottle. I know that sounds simple but maybe one from another bottle you have might fit.

I end up cutting my bottles open, when the lotion gets low enough, and place a baggy over the opening. I use a sharp knife or a box cutter...be real careful doing that.

@SilleeMee.  They need to put it in a jar and call it a hand cream.  At least it would be usable.  Hey, I may have an idea.  I have a big jar that's almost empty.  I'm gonna try it!

[ Edited ]

I get those awful painful splits in my fingers during cold winter months and have tried most every lotion out there.  I've just recently started using Tweak'd Restore Rescue Cream in Coco-Nutty.  It leaves my hands feeling plump and moisturized for hours without any greasy feeling and a little bit goes a long way.  Sinks right in.  I got this duo on HSN.

I've been using Waleda Skin Food this winter, and it keeps my hands soft and smooth.
