Tops?  Bag Balm!  And also some jojoba or even olive oil rubbed in occasionally. And file off the rough cuticle edges by the tip of your finger just enough for this stuff to sink in.

Get a humidifier and keep running it throughout the day.

I use mine 24/7 and I also have a separate humidity gauge to monitor the situation. Keep it around 40% humidity 'round the clock. What that does for your skin and breathing is amazing....and healthy to say the least.

Re: Extreme dry hands - What Helps!!

@Bhvbum Good thinking! I eat very healthy though and have normal to oily skin and my lips are never dry.
It’s just my hands and I know it’s because I’m a constant hand washer. It started when the pandemic hit and now that it’s winter I’m really worse. I thought I tried every hand lotion out there until I read these helpful posts.
I tried sleeping with socks on my hands but end up taking them off, because I can’t sleep. Strange too because I can’t fall asleep unless I have socks on my feet. 😂 Hands no way, no how.
I’m also bad at wearing gloves and mittens and as one poster mentioned I need to. So today I put a pair in each coat I use to remind me. So glad I reached out today for help. I’m feeling more optimistic now.

Cerave or Eucerin for extremely dry hands.

@Sugipine You’re Right!!! I wish I knew a long time ago how Wonderful a Humidifier is! I bought the Homemedics Breathe Better Fireside Ultrasonic Humidifier last month at the Q and ❤️ it! I’ve noticed a huge difference with my sinus allergies. They’re practically gone. In fact I completely stopped using my prescription nasal spray. It’s that amazing!

Where did you get your gauge from to know what percentage? I bet that would be very helpful to know.

@RescueLover

Amazon has many digital hygrometers. A good one should cost you less than $15. The one I have is old and it's actually part of a home weather station I have in my house. You don't need that.
