Last New Year's I had ordered Lionetti's stromboli 4 pack to use as part of my New Years
Eve party. This year, a friend of mine asked me to order them for her party as it was such a hit last time. So I did. I got the 4 pack. When we took them out of the oven, we noticed kind of a bad smell. Couldn't quite put our finger on what it was. Then we started slicing them up. It was awful. The pepperoni and cheese had such an awful, rancid smell and the pepperoni was this dirt brown color. The cheese never even melted, it got as hard as a rock and we determined that was where the smell was coming from. Same thing with the steak and cheese. Then we noticed on the film packaging that it said 'use by September 2010.' They sent out food that had been expired for 3 months! This is the absolutle last straw for me. I've been a QVC shopper for 20+ years, but this is not the same QVC. Lately I've been receiving clothing that is dirty, makeup that's been opened or crushed and their shipping rates.....well I just can't seem to figure them out. But this was the cherry on the cake for me. Sending out food that is expired for 3 months? I am cancelling my account and will never shop with QVC again. I said it before and I'll say it again (which will probably not get posted as they've blocked my posts in the past) it's not the same QVC. Customer satisfaction is obviously not a consideration for them anymore. It's all about the almighty dollar. Well, not my dollars anymore.
