I'm watching In the Kitchen w/David.  I noticed when he was presenting the Ninja 5 Qt pressure cooker the one the vendor at home was using looked so much bigger than the one on-set.  Same thing for the Temp-tations meal mugs.  The ones David is showing look to be the size of soup mugs I have, but the ones Tara has at home look so much bigger.

Re: Everything's Bigger at Home

Could be because David is in a big open studio and the vendor is in a "normal" kitchen. I know a few years ago I purchased two chairs and when they were delivered they took up the entire space.  The sales person told me that was likely the reason - big open space versus smaller space.  Hope this makes sense!

@demanda probably doesn't help that David is such a big guy and these vendors are ladies.  I just didn't think a 5 qt PC would be particularly large.  I thought 6-qt was pretty standard.  It looked huge next to the vendor.

@demanda i think you are on target.  Ii remember when I first started buying from TV, my mistakes all had to do with not understanding the size of what I was seeing.

@Icegoddess  You are right! I'm looking at the Le Creuset TSV being presented. They look much bigger in front of the representative. I know that 5 1/2 qts. isn't particularly big. I have an 8 qt. Lodge. The TSV looks smallish in front of David. Dave is a big guy, but also the camera angle in the rep's home makes the pots look bigger.

It's the camera angle.
