@jackthebear, I totally agree with you. Lately (the past year, at least), I've been noticing that one thread that I participate in semi-regularly these days, on Sat. mornings, back a few years ago it was not unusual for there to be several hundred posts, now it's unusual to go past one hundred posts, sometimes even less. Many weeks I no longer participate these days. These boards, in general, not meaning just one category or two, have become stale and tired. Perhaps it was just time.

I think the people have drifted away, it started as the m o d d i n g got heavier and heavier

over the past 2 years.

@goldensrbest I'm sorry that QVC doesn't understand that many folks on here feel just like you . I'm sorry you are upset i understand. I would like to think positive that QVC would change there mind , probably not but we never know. Have you thought of joining Proboards as many here are ? I'm seriously thinking I will as I hate to loose what we've had here which has been a part of my day since the beginning . Never thought they would shut it down. I'm sad as well, the new forum may be just the thing.

@Shanus I believe your right !!! I know I just won't be shopping as much after this forum is shut down. Wo t have reasons to co ebhere each day . These forums bring me here , Then I learn about a product I wouldn't necessarily know about and I may go and purchase. I really feel thisvisva bad move on there part .

@beckyb1012 I'll tell you for me, it's mind blowing! The Forums were the first thing I read in the morning when I started my day, checked my notifications and answered anyone who addressed @Shanus. I read over many forums and enjoyed the banter and questions. I appreciate @mellyg setting up the new site, but it will definitely take time for me to learn to navigate it and feel like it's a "1, 2 ,3" like the forum here.

@Shanus I feel the same way so enjoyed coming here each day ! I am not very tech savvy so it won't Be like second nature learning to navigate the new forum. It will take time for me anyways.

I think closing these Forums is a mistake. I have purchased things I really like because they have been discussed on these boards. These boards are a good source of information about products.
