The hard reality is that these forums are a dinosaur.

Only a small subset of QVC customers post here. while their FB page has a little over 3.1 MILLION followers. If it's not driving incremental sales or reaching their target demographic, and I'm sure they have enormous amounts of data with that info, it needs to go.

I see that 3.2 Million have Liked the page. That does not mean that they are actively being followed. In fact if you look at all of the different postings the numbers are pretty paltry.

@beckyb1012 I'll tell you for me, it's mind blowing! The Forums were the first thing I read in the morning when I started my day, checked my notifications and answered anyone who addressed @Shanus. I read over many forums and enjoyed the banter and questions. I appreciate @mellyg setting up the new site, but it will definitely take time for me to learn to navigate it and feel like it's a "1, 2 ,3" like the forum here.

Now there still is an HSN community forum. About 11 people online at best most of the time. It's slow to post and very hard to post pictures. Everyone left including me and I came here.

A shame, such is life. I created an account on Delphi/Wisteria Lane. I was "Serengeti" a few months back but had to take time off and had to put up a new nick here. Over there I will be "Bunny123". I'll give it a try -
nothing to lose. I see some people there already.

@Pink123 Oh Geez, if people change their nics on top of everything else, how will we know each other? May I suggest not changing nics unless absolutely necessary and if you do change, maybe put your nic from here in parentheses? Afterall, not too long ago,these forums had difficulties and many had to change nics to sign in. I still don't recognize who they are.

@BoopOMatic I think to many, it's not a matter of setting up roots at the new site, but a matter of principle how we're being treated. BTW, I don't recognize your nic. Did you change it?

@jackthebear, I totally agree with you. Lately (the past year, at least), I've been noticing that one thread that I participate in semi-regularly these days, on Sat. mornings, back a few years ago it was not unusual for there to be several hundred posts, now it's unusual to go past one hundred posts, sometimes even less. Many weeks I no longer participate these days. These boards, in general, not meaning just one category or two, have become stale and tired. Perhaps it was just time.

No, I haven't been here long enough to change it! LOL. I guess I got here just at the right time, before the "end" came and they announced they are closing the forums. So I transferred over to the proboards forum. I did read here quite a while before I registered.
