I'll miss all the gift holiday shows, it's always a bit of a let down after the end of the year. That's ok, I won't spend as much money for a while lol

"Every presentation is a gift" actually made me chuckle if you interpret it differently (than intended!)

A celebration of cashing in.  It is not just QVC.  Often a boost to their bottom line, which can benefit us all.

Of course we notice, it's happening everywhere. Although tough on our pocket books, it's good for the economy and for seasonal workers.

It's make it, or break it time, for some businesses. Many survive on the boost of holiday earnings.

We've all been programmed to participate for fear of missing out, or feeling unworthy. Think about it. It's a mind game, for sure. But, I'm still playing.

Re: Every presentation is a gift

@Group 5 minus 1   I don't watch enough to notice, but I expect everything is.  Everything at every mall store, very supermarket, very pharmacy even is a gift for someone.

Today I bought extra lettuce so I can feed the neighborhood rabbits all week - my gift to them!

Everything else I will shop before long will be for me --  all basic products to create more safety in my home.  I certainly don't need lots of what others might want for gifts, but I don't mind being out of the loop at this time of year.   No business can survive without enough sales to attract investors.  I'm less than zero help to moss businesses right now.

@THEY CallMe Mr Wilkes.  Those obviously fall in the "new year, new you" category.  The 21st is too late for Christmas delivery and the rest are after Christmas.

Thanks for all the postings. I only watch to find out the TSV. I think I should just not even watch those, maybe record.
