I'm a fan of both Valerie and Mally, and I have bought items from both. I usually give my friends holiday gifts from Valerie's collection. The one year I baked for them instead they missed their usual "decoration" gifts!

Anyway, instead of insulting vendors and those who actually like what they bring to QVC just don't watch their shows!  Smiley Frustrated

I've shopped QVC for 30 years and I've never bought ONE thing of hers.

IMO, she buys cheap carp from China, throws a handful of glitter at it and calls it 'designer'....not even close, IMO.

I so agree, and it has become worse over the years. Very cheap, but Valerie has the "charm" to sell the stuff.

@beach-mom

I don't watch ANY QVC  shows on TV anymore, I check out items, watch videos online.

Not "insulting" the vendor, just giving my own personal opinion of the items she brings and the fact that I don't buy any of them.

Valerie's merch used to be special. I remember getting a wreath of hers for a friends special birthday, and she talks about it to this day. For me her products are ordinary and can be purchased many different places. It's a shame.

You can also go to a Michael's or Joanne's and find products.  I think the appeal of Valerie is that she is a one stop shopping vendor.  Many people don't feel like going to different stores to purchase holiday decorations when they can purchase most of their items at QVC and have them delivered to their homes.

I get it and that's their right to do, if they chose to purchase them!

I'm sure they will enjoy their purchases and hope that they do!

@KingstonsMom , I understand, but shopping on the internet is easy no matter where you shop.

I think people feel like buying the same junk from her that you can buy from Michaels or Hobby Lobby elevates the product and warrants a higher price.  It's perceived value and she's got that figured out with her persona and presentations. You're paying for the experience as there is nothing special about her items.
