Re: ENSTROM CANDIES

[ Edited ]

@rockygems123.  I've cut out most sugar too.  I got some nutless toffee last Christmas and really like it.

Grand Junction is strange but is really desert but with several major rivers meeting there (hence the junction).   There are beautiful geological attractions including the Bookcliffs and Colorado National Monument of red rock monoliths.

Nearby is Grand Mesa, the largest flat top mountain in the world.  It's all forests and lakes, beautiful.

Lots of fruit orchards in the area.

Wow, thank you for sending the info and pics!  Seems like a very interesting place and makes me realize we have a very varied state here in Colorado.

It's only 4 hours from here.

As for not eating a lot of sweets, caved last night and had a slice of Whole Foods Berry Chantilly cake, just amazing.

Increased production of Enstrom toffee definitely sounds good to me! We're halfway through the tub we received a couple of weeks ago (no nuts means evvvveryone loves eating them), so I'll probably be buying another tub in December.  Smiley Happy

@rockygems123.  Yum on the cake.

Grand Junction would make a nice short 3 day vacation.  There are so many places in Colorado that would.

This summer hopefully will be one to go somewhere in Colorado a bit further from metro Denver.

This fall was Breckenridge last year was Estes Park.  Usually only 2 day trips but I'd love to see more sights.

It's part of my job too with antique / jewelry reconnaissance ha.

I love Enstrom's Toffee and ordered my usual tub on auto-delivery for this year.  However, most of my toffees don't have any almonds in them at all, which is so odd.  We are almost done with the tub that we received in October and it has been the same throughout.  Still delicious, but the mostly missing almonds are a disappointment.  Hoping my next shipment is better.
