There are at least 2 or 3 current topics about delivery/shipping times and "issues" and if you look back there are probably dozens of them. In at least 2 of the current ones, the OP at some point in the discussion does mention that the EDD (estimated delivery date) was 3-18. Yet here it is 3-14 and there are already questions as to why their item has not been received. There are also discussions about items sitting in warehouses and why aren't they being shipped if the tracking info says the label has been printed etc etc. At least one contributor to the conversation complained because the post office doesn't deliver on Sundays. I don't presume to understand QVC warehouse and shipping practices, but having worked for a very large company I am certain there is a method to their madness that we don't understand because we don't see the entire picture.
When you purchase something LOOK at the EDD that is given. If it isn't soon enough for you then don't order the item or pay for express shipping of some sort.
If you purchase the item you are essentially agreeing to the EDD. Why are you worrying unnecessarily about when the item will arrive when it is several days before the EDD? Why bother looking at the QVC tracking info when virtually everyone knows that it isn't always accurate on the QVC site and why waste time looking days in advance of the EDD? I too wish the tracking info was more accurate, but, for now, it isn't. I go directly to the UPS site, for example, which is much more accurate and use their tracking info if I have a question regarding a package.
Also, I, for one, am tired of reading about how Amazon is faster with their deliveries - who cares, every vendor is different - you aren't ordering from Amazon you are ordering from QVC. If you don't like the wait times then you need to reconsider your ordering habits.
Something else about the EDD - that E stands for ESTIMATED - not guaranteed. In my experience ordering for over 20 years, 99% of the time my packages arrived before or by the EDD and I suspect the same is true with most QVC shoppers.
Sorry for the exrtreme wordiness and just one more thing. Weather does play a part. There might not be snow or extreme weather in your area, but there may be in other areas of the country that will impact your delivery times. Take that into consideration.
My point, know what your EstimatedDD is and stop worrying and complaining about it until it truly makes sense to do so.

More to the point, unless something is a gift, is there really a rush to receive most items? If it is a gift, then I suppose those ordering need to consider that when ordering. To me, mail order is not the ideal method for procuring gifts that require a rapid turn-around. If something is needed by a deadline, then the customer needs to plan ahead and consider their deadline when ordering. I get it that it can become frustrating when forced to wait inordinately long to receive something one has ordered, but to me, a week or so is reasonable, if not ideal, and as far as Amazon goes, I find their shipping pretty uneven. Some things arrive quickly, and some don't, just like everywhere else. I'd also note that like QVC, I don't always find Amazon's pricing to be 'all that'. I do, however, enjoy the fact that they offer free shipping on many items.

I agree. It is hard for me to understand why some people get so caught up in exactly when their items will arrive. Maybe they just don't have anything else to focus on in their life.
