Duraflame Heater

[ Edited ]

There were some that were disappointed a few weeks ago that the TSV wasn't the usual fireplace looking Duraflame.

I just found this V83513....Great price ! Under $100. Free shipping.

I love the stove heater that you posted in the photo, but so far the lantern photo not so much. It's very attractive but I think it lacks in functionality. I'm thinking of returning it.

Does it not produce much heat?

I have 5 Duraflame heaters in varying sizes and have been happy for years with all of them, they heat a room like crazy!

@We rescue cats.  As big and heavy as it is, it'll probably cost almost as much to return it as it originally cost.

@We rescue cats  I'm sorry you don't like the lantern heater. We love ours! It fits in well in our family room without taking up much space, and I can turn it on myself or can direct it into the whole room. What is it about the lantern heater you don't like?

I don't like that it doesn't appear to tell me what the heat levels are, though I may be missing it somewhere? I love the look of it and the other duraflame heaters we have are all terrific. But not knowing what power level we are on is enough to make me return it.

Though I think @Kachina624 is probably right. it will be pricey to do so!

Count me among the disappointed. Was considering a stove heater, thought the lantern heater, quite frankly, was ridiculous. I also don't fall all over the mountains of lanterns, fake candles and other 'illlumiated' goods so often pushed out there by Q.

Can anyone tell me how long the electric cord is on this heater?

I ordered it for my mudroom and was wondering where to place it.

TIA

@eddyandme I would assume the standard 6ft cord

@We rescue cats  Sorry it took me so long to respond to this.  I agree with you. Mine is also difficult to read in regards to the level of heat. I was just thinking about pulling out the instructions that came with the lantern to see what it says. It isn't a game-changer for me, because if it gets too warm, I just turn it toward the middle of the room, or I turn it off.
