How many times have I bemoaned the same thing to myself. And if I had to choose between the maxi, which is all too common, and the midi, I prefer the midi at the right length and style, and can't get that much either.

I am 5'9" and 123# , I find that the dresses are too short for me . I have good legs ,but at the age of 74 I only want to show the part below my knees except at the pool. I find that I buy midi or maxi dress more often and the have them made to the perfect lengh .i also find the slacks too short, however if they gave a decent hem I can have them let down by facing the the bottom. Please designers as I have said and written in my reviews "You can always hem , but what can you do if there isn't enough material to let it down.
