Does "FRI-YAY" still make sense?

Even if you thought it did before (I did not), is it valid these days?

For all too many of us, the days are running together and reaching Friday as any sort of milestone doesn't really make anyone extra happy like it may have before.

Thoughts?

Still working at the office/warehouse and when Friday hits, "Yay" is not the word I'm thinking of.

I truly agree, let's bury it.

I'm very happy to report that I've never heard this phrase anywhere except QVC.  I agree with you that I don't think right now people are celebrating anything, not even Friday.

IMO, it was stupid then and it is stupid now. 🤷‍♀️

It is a clever phrase for escapism!

Does Good Morning, America still make sense if your morning is not good?

Perfectly fine. Some of us (actually a lot of us) still have to work. Not everyone is off due to closures or can wfh. Nothing wrong with it, the phrase. We're all in this so let's be optimistic and remember. . .No One is promised a tomorrow!

The days run together. My sister thought today was Thursday when she facetimed me earlier today but I said it was Friday. One day is like the next.....
