Does anyone else hate 24 hour events ?

I don't buy jewlelry, so i don't even turn QVC on , i think they lose sales concentrating on one category for 24 hours. I like beauty , but i know many don't want to watch that for  Any opinions. I understand seasonal fashion days. any opinions ? i might be in the minority.

@MW in Iowa.  I agree, today's jewelry event has been deadly boring.  Same passe, old fashioned jewelry shown over and over.  I got all I wanted of what they're selling about 20 years ago.  They need new buyers.

It's a snoozefest.

This is personal preference , but don't think i could spend thousands on any piece of jewlery , i can afford it ,but i would feel icky. But of course people wouldn't spend money on some of the things i buy. At least the jewlerly will last a lifetime.

I actually don't mind them—I kind of like knowing I won't be interested at all in what is being presented for a full day and thus avoiding QVC altogether or potentially being excited about new items or great deals in categories I like and therefore tuning in a few times throughout the whole day to catch some appealing programming.

The only thing I don't like in any of these scenarios is the ridiculously loooonnnnnggg time spent on the TSV; no item merits a presentation longer than 20 minutes, even if it has multiple features to highlight, and we don't need to see the same presentations dozens of times per day.

I would never spend several hundred or even thousands on a piece of jewelry I could not see in person to feel the quality. I have more than enough jewelry than....and bought it when the cost gold was lower and the jewelry quality was higher.

I am doubtful Q's customer base is interested in 24 hrs of expensive jewelry.

Hate them too....especially jewlery and food, cleaning, kitchen with David (not because I dislike David) it just gets old to me.

Love them if it's fashion, makeup/skincare or home decorating, Fall/Seasonal variety events, etc

So it depends....

I have to admit I like the all day fashion events but that is about it.  Christmas in July - don't even get me started.  Kitchen and food days - nah.  Beauty- so-so.  And the jewelry days could be good if they only got some new interesting vendors in, but today was a wash.  That is one good thing about them having a second channel; at least we have an alternative schedule.
