Wouldnt it be great if qvc/hsn would offer budget friendly things?  With this economy their prices are just so high on most things!

Like a budget friendly clean beauty line of products, clothes, etc.

Im sure it wont ever happen though.

I'm pretty sure the Q thinks it IS budget friendly.

Nice thought but I think it would be highly unprofitable (cost of production versus revenue) for Qurate, which can't risk it at this point.

That's what the box stores are for (Wal-Mart, Target, drug store chains, etc.)

QVC has to ship every item to their customers so they would never be able to make a profit it they sold cheaper merchandise.

They make it a selling point that they are better quality/higher end than the box stores.

They also like to remind you that you can spread out your payments with E-Z Pay, making them budget friendly.

Yes they do need to make money. More ppl could buy more if things were less costly.........But i do understand ( somewhat lol )

The prices on the channels are way higher than ever these days..but so is everything everywhere I guess. Man Frustrated

Consider the overhead QVC has that stores don't have like tv production, hosts, models, etc.

Also lower priced goods equal lower profit margins on each piece so a company would have to sell many more units to break even.  They're not trying to compete with Walmart or other big box stores.

"Budget friendly" for who? Q has a pretty good idea who their customer is and what they will be willing to spend for any particular item. That's where they price the things that they sell.

@CherryHugs I agree that I wish people would put the subject in the title rather so people would know what you are wanting to discuss.

We need a clear definition of "budget friendly" and "clean" before we can express an opinion.  Until then, it is just buzz words.
