At one time, I watched QVC much more than now. I just cannot stand the drivel that you hear over and over again on the same items.  I won't even go into the hosts performances that we have to endure if we want to see an item presented.  Years ago, there was a cute model, named Iris. She was a larger girl and was always smiling and bouncy.  She was on quite often and then gone for a while, then she was back, then gone forever. There was an article that she had health issues but that they had cleared up and that's when she came back.  Then, she was gone again.

Yes I sure do remember Iris, I thought she was so pretty.I miss her.

I don't remember Iris having health issue, although there was another model during that period who did.  Iris was ambitious and always looking for opportunities.  Many didn't work out, then she'd be back modeling again until something else came along.  

She even had a tryout as a host and had a line of clothing briefly at QVC... both fizzled.  Eventually something came along that was successful and she was gone never to return, at least not yet.   I'd be happy to see her smiling face back again.

Wasn't it Trina who had the health issues? I did like Iris a lot. Hope she is doing great wherever she is.

@daisyk  Thank you.  Yes, I believe it was Trina... couldn't remember the name.  She had extreme allergies so bad, she couldn't even sleep in her apartment.  I wonder what happened to her?

Iris Simms is still around....just not at the Q.  She has an incredible voice and is working on recording an album.

Spoiler Alert....

Last week I contacted QVC and informed them that I would not be returning due to personal reasons, dreams, goals and desires. That said I now wish to take this opportunity to thank all of my (many) family, friends and fans who have supported me during my 20 year on and off again relationship with the global electronic retail giant.
From my clothing line "Never Enough by Iris Simms" to the debut of Inspired Style and late night beauty shows to early morning fashion shows your love, encouragement and support has meant the world to me and many times fueled me to keep on keeping on. I will certainly miss all of you. Not forgetting to mention the most incredible people whom I have been blessed to have the pleasure of meeting and working with while developing life long friendships and SO much more. The laughter in the Models room is forever ingrained in my memory bank alone with the overnight sleepovers. Thank you beauties and gents for always keeping it true and real #100. Just know my heart is forever with you. That said look for my book coming out Sping 2016 "Faith Found in the Mustard Seed" alone with music a web channel named "Here Comes Iris" and SOOO much more. I liked Iris, as well. I was pleasantly surprised to see Eiko (please forgive the spelling. I have no idea how to spell her name) last night on QVC. I also really miss Joy, Rachel, and there used to be a cute girl with a short bob hairdo that I enjoyed watching. QVC has changed a lot, and not for the better, IMO. I'm saving money, though!!

I remember Iris, her last name is Simms. She left for a while, returned as a vendor for a bit, then a little back and forth appearance as a model. Maybe about a year and a half ago she was in a picture on Leah's facebook, she had crutches. If I remember correctly she had some problems with her feet. I did notice when she came back as a model she only wore low heeled shoes. Someone posted here on the board, that Iris, through her social media said she was leaving QVC. The other model Trina Clark had health issues regarding mold. Google her name, you can read her story, there's a video. So sad.
