@vermint When I'm in my car, and realize I left my phone on the kitchen table, if I'm close to home, I'll turn around and go get it. If I realize after driving a distance, I feel VERY uneasy until I get back home. (In part because, heaven forbid an emergency, I don't KNOW ANYONE'S phone number I may have to call, I just tap their name on my iPhone!)

@Jaynah

I put a note in my wallet with my emergency contact's phone number for that very reason!

I don't have a mobile phone. My husband and daughters do and they seem to be scrolling all day, even while eating or watching TV. I think they're addicted.

We share a cell,however our telephone company is threatening to take our land line away. We will then be forced to purchase another and we are ready for that.

Our telephone company is AT&T.

I don't know anyone who doesn't have a cell phone.  My first phone was back in the late 80's or early 90's.  It was actually had to be professionally installed.  It worked with the car's electrical system.  I bought mine from a very wealthy client.   It had never been used and was worth almost $2000.00.   I got it for $200.00.   Eventually got a flip phone.   In 2007 I purchased my first iPhone.   But I rarely even turned it on..... until my Mom got sick.  After that I always had in on in the event she needed me.  We still have our landline at home.
