@Janey2 Does that mean you think she DIDN'T buy the items she said she did? Because it would be perfectly natural to tell people you liked something you are presenting so much that you got it for yourself. They are sharing something about themselves and their preferences.

Another sales tactic.  QVC probably found customers who have favorite hosts will buy more from them when they say that.  

When I see hosts wearing $200 - $500 outfits, dresses, and shoes from other retailers, I wonder how many actually buy as much of QVC's clothing as they claim.

I rarely believe them when they say they’ve purchased something. Just a selling tactic trying to drum up excitement and orders.
