Re: Do You Think Some Posters Are Paid To Post?πŸ€”

There has been a lot on the news about companies hiring people to post good reviews.  Most of what I've seen talks about the actual producers/vendors of products doing it rather than the retailer that sells them.

I get sales advertisements in my email nearly every day from somewhere on the web.

@cbrite: No, I don't think any posters are being paid. Some people post a lot, some don't. I think it's just that simple.

I don't think they are paid, but I believe relatives of hosts post. I think they read the boards and probably relay information that they screen.

I don't think QVC pays people to post.

I do think some of the vendors pay people to post good reviews.

No, I don't think some posters are paid to post, if that means by the Q.. but I do (and have thought for quite the while) that one particular poster is a plant, used for promotion and etc. by someone that doesn't work for the Q.

I  don't necessarily think they are paid to post... but I do believe that some the "what do you do about" posts are timed to coincide with a product that will "solve" the problem.

Sometimes things are too much of a coincidence to be a coincidence.

@CalmInTheHeart

I think they call those the people  "influencers."  It's a term I've heard several times lately.
