Recently purchased two rings, Both platinum clad. I'm not hard on items. Problem already finish wearing off looks bad. Wonder if Qvc using a different process? Older pieces haven't experienced.

I wear off any and all "clad" jewelry even over sterling silver and have always been able to wear their Platinum Diamonique and have a couple of the older rings so I am upset to hear you are having problems with this line.... Woman Sad

@Sweet_Serenity   I've never had an issue w/ the platinum plating. I'd return them.

Never had any platinum-clad pieces except earrings which are old and still in perfect condition, but earrings and rings get really different kinds of wear.  I, too, would return them.

I'm pretty sure the only ring I've ever owned that's clad is a really old Affinity piece that has 14K bands surrounding a pave diamond center.  Still a favorite of mine -  but that doesn't speak to what's happening in today's market.

I have some of the older Epiphany line which was the platinum plated DMQ and it has held up well.  Sorry to hear you are having issues with the new items.  I'd return them for sure.

I appreciate the heads up on the quality control issue.

Diamonique looks better than my diamonds. Think for rings stick with gold or sterling silver. Have my eye on 14k ring.

The only clad I have are earrings as well.  I'm sorry to hear this and hope it's not a new trend.

I have a lot of the DMG clad rings and necklaces and never had a problem with the clad wearing off. That being said, I recently bought the tiny cross necklace in the rose clad and I seem to be allergic to the rose clad. Sorry you are having a problem with the platinum, just send it back.

@Sweet_Serenity  That is sad.  I have many pieces from back when Lisa Mason had the diamonique shows.  They still look new.  I hope like the other poster that they haven't changed how they are making it.
