I think one of the problems is competition from Amazon. Returns are so easy. Maybe the Q has to make some changes to their return policy.

QVC needs to make many changes in order to compete and survive.

Big fish eat little fish. They won't survive.

Re: Decline in sales

Not much time left to get the act together.  Less than 1 year.

$2.9 billion due and payable October 27, 2026.  That's $2.9 billion due all at once on one day.  That's a tough slog.

And it could be due sooner if QVC Group violates certain covenants with its bank lenders.  Without forbearance from the banks or a restructuring,  there is absolutely no way to repay this with current cash flow.  I said it before and I'll say again;  in my experience this is a foretell of a Chapter 11.

Definitely not a good situation.

@Group 5 minus 1   I totally agree !   Amazon does make return easy , free shipping and, items received most often time the  next day.  Sometimes the same day !

i feel qvc is having many issues they need to work on lately.  I myself have had 3 seperate issues in the past few days.   I really dont like wasting my time to call, email etc to get things fixed .

Easier returns will not help QVC pay $2.9 billion in debt. I don't know the solution but returning products is not it. Firing host people don't like won't pay it either.

there are many things that could be done with the team of lawyers, consultants etc they must have at there fingertips

lettung people go thst hsve high salaries is a start.    Giving more details especially with clothing could help a lot in returns .   I know I would return less if I knew more regarding the clothing  items.

I dont think its their returns so much.  There has been a slight improvement if you initiate it on line. But, still a long wait for refunds or items being exchanged.  I think its more deliveries.  Even if  you dont have prime, its just a matter of maybe 4 days with Amazon..  Here its usually 7 to 10 days and then you really cant rely on that being the minimum time.  Especially if its coming out of Ontario,Ca.  And even if you pay for expidited delivery, the processing time is the same, so no sense in paying for extra delivery charges.  And, by the way, I dont think $3 to $8  sale on items is really a sale!!

Layoffs . There are priorities . One needs food and money to pay bills and live.
