Last week I ordered an HP desktop PC that was supposed to ship on Friday. It did not ship on Friday, and on Friday night, there was a very similar Dell PC offered as a OTO for $250 less than the HP. So I cancelled the HP and ordered the Dell. On Saturday, the PC I cancelled still showed as "In Process", so I cancelled it again and emailed CS to ensure that it would not be shipped.
It shipped.
I have the printout showing it was cancelled, but I don't want to hassle with dragging it down to the post office to return it so I cancelled the Dell, even though I would rather have that one. Seems to me, if it was past the point of no return with the shipping, I should have gotten that message instead of being told it was cancelled. Way to go, QVC. Your mistake cost me $250. Next time I buy a computer I'll do it locally.
