Re: David on Wednesday might

As previously mentioned, I can't stand him not looking at the camera, and continually looking at himself on the monitor. I couldn't even stand it for the one hour. It's so annoying.  "Hey, I'm over here!" Woman Indifferent

Re: David on Wednesday might

Probably an unpopular opinion, but David's ITKWD show has become very stale.  Keep the Sunday multi-hour show, but get rid of the PM Wednesday show altogether.  They keep playing with it's Wednesday show anyway -- postponing it for for several weeks for different shows, moving it to QVC 2, changing the day it's on, reducing the hours, etc.

They're bringing back Mary's ITKWM show on the main channel, plus they have Julia's ITKWJ show on QVC 2.  Those, along with David's Sunday show, I mean, isn't that enough???

Re: David on Wednesday might

I don’t watch him very often as I don’t buy much kitchen stuff or food from QVC. But when I do watch him, it just seems like he is bored. He has been doing this forever and can do it in his sleep. I appreciate that he is not over the top and frantic like other hosts. He is kind and is a professional. At the same time, it just seems to me like his heart is not in it anymore.

@Caaareful Shopper - I totally agree with you. And this new experiment of having ITKWD on the main channel for an hour followed by the same show moving to Q2 for another hour or two is ridiculous; I honestly can't believe more than one person heard the pitch and thought, "Oh, what a great idea!" I like the show overall and often watch both channels, but I had a busy night last night and did not even try to make the switch after the first hour. I would imagine a lot of people aren't going to follow the show back and forth every week, no matter how much they like David. I guess we'll just have to wait and see how long this latest version of "reimagining your kitchen" lasts.

@Tatanoo46 The show isn't selling enough.  Probably because it is the same stuff over and over for a zillion years, people don't want and don't need the products, you can buy a better one from Amazon for less money, they are not interested in or tired of the host and/or sellers featured, or simply the product is mostly junk.

Re: David on Wednesday might

I received an email from Q yesterday, telling me about the big kitchen gadget clearance sale. I really am not looking for anything in particular but took a look. What a HUGE disappointment and waste of time. The slashed prices were 2 or 3 dollars off, AND when the S/H was added on it saved me pennies. I closed the site and decided that I was no longer worrying about their sales. I no longer trust them.

I don't generally watch ITKWD mainly because  I don't need a single thing for the kitchen! I was channel surfing and came upon  David's show and heard him say it was on for an hour on main channel then switching over to QVC2. I thought, how strange, and wondered if viewership is down for his show.

Re: David on Wednesday might

I have a lot of respect for David and what he has accomplished........ But my heavens can someone please tell him to stop looking at himself while he eats, and to stop putting his finger on his mouth and his nose. I believe he has health issues that he must control, and eating all that horrible food doesn't help him. Most of the time he doesn't look well to me.
