I'm not a kitchen/foodie person so I never watch David, but the few times I land on his show hes basically pointing to colors and telling how many are left in an item.

@ellaphant - he'd be lost if there was only one color. Then there's, "How many sold in this show alone?"

There's always a lot to be thankful for if you take time to look for it.
For example, I am sitting here thinking how nice it is that wrinkles don't hurt.

Re: David on Wednesday might

I do miss the old kitchen shows when they sold pot and pans sets and actually cooked something. Remember T-Fal? I still have a piece or two. I have a set of dishes that is so pretty, bought fo $99. The show is so predictable now. Vacs and mattresses and food have taken over. I think David has job burnout. Looks that way to me.

[ Edited ]

For me the complete tone of David's shows changed when they no longer featured Meredith and Chef Joe actually cooking live with Cooks Essentials sets.

The large sets had a variety of pots and pans and the Chefs would demonstrate tips and techniques.  Similar to the Curtis Stone shows on HSN.

That has all given way to kitchen gadgets and electrics and prepared foods.   Most of his viewers probably have no need for entire sets anymore.   Which is fine if the new format is working, sales wise, but the shows have changed dramatically.

I wonder why they want to flip from Q to Q2 in the middle of the Wednesday show. It doesn't seem to be a good thing for the show; not everyone has access to Q2 (unless they stream). I'm curious about the rationale there.

Doesn't matter to me which channel. I don't watch David

@WORKING GAL  Mary's weekly ITKWM show started back up again on the main channel on Wednesday, April 23 @ 11:00am, after her Belle by Kim Gravel show.
