This will get poofed. A few posters talk about "strict diet".Generally if one is on a strict diet it is more about health and less about appearance. I believe David has a serious health problem and not just overweight. And being overweight is a health problem but not the big thingie that the Q makes of it.

I also believe many posters and David fans want to be able to lose weight and are envious of David's diet. And the "health whatever " is just plain silly.

The long and winding road that leads to your door will never disappear.

At least Steve has been working out as a regular part of his life, not just after joining ITKWD.  His social media shows lots of exercise routines.

In fact QVC has given him a few fitness equipment shows, primarily on QVC 2.  He's done fitness shows on the main channel with Rick a couple of time as well.  He doesn't just present, he does the exercises right along with the models.

To that point, everyone else that does frequent food shows, like Alberti, Rachel, and some other hosts, still eat quite a bit in the shows.  They seem to be able to balance the show's food intake with exercise.

David knows what his triggers are and is not yet comfortable, even after a year, with the calories in/calories out balance.  The food challenge is different for everyone.  Someone asked David recently if he's incorporated weight training in his exercise.  He responded that he has not, but wants to start someday soon.  It's a process.

Replied yesterday to this and saw it must had gotten poofed, because of maybe  what I wrote ,one thing wrote was seeing vendors making clothes on the Q goes up to 5X does that tell you something,will try again read fast .

I did watch Wednesday night "In The Kitchen With David " and saw how he stood over Steve and let him eat the food, did not care for that at all. I understand he is dieting and seems to be succeeding, happy for him,but what is the food that is being offered and he is not trying  telling us, YES  he only takes a tiny bite. Many of us have a journey like David so if he is afraid to eat this or that I think it  sends a message.We really don't need another book from him  telling us "Don't Eat This",  things that were probably in each of his previous cookbooks. We all know what is good for us, when you want to lose weight. Yes I do buy from Q some foods but only after reading the nutritional value and use  common sense.

Did like watching Steve Doss  doing solo  the Q 2  Gourmet show Saturday, think I would give him 5*****.

I don't think that David is leaving The Kitchen anytime soon.

He is much too important a micro-business to Qurate, with product proliferation.  He is, I believe,  Qurate's most valuable asset, talent-wise.

Marketing will promote his new diet and lifestyle book aggressively,  and feature those recipes on air (most likely).

But too much has been invested in his image as the home cook.  It's worth a boatload of money to Qurate and it's not going to go away.

@Commoner Exec Mr Wilkes   Agreed.

The next QVC Christmas movie to follow Holly & the Hot Chocolate will probably be Holly and the Cauliflower Pizza.  Complete with a low carb food truck on Main Street.

I'd watch.  I love cauliflower pizza.  LOL

@paixmcdao

Did the host really tell the other host to say those things?

Yes, the host is now relying on the cohost to say what he wants said regarding food descriptions 🤣 It looks so incredibly silly bc I can tell those statements aren't what that particular cohost would actually say. I don't think I've ever sealed the deal on a purchase due to the chew it provides or the aftertaste of butter but that's just me 🤷🏻‍♀️

Incredibly silly and condescending to the other host!

    Will anwser you  cause think I wasn't saying anything  wrong ,about Wednesday night show, and was  surprised it was taken down.Saw someone wrote their son wonder if anyone ever  spit out the food and say it's was terrible, I LOL,you do read people saying on reviews that they have  asked for a refund many times, so he made a good  point and  was very surprised they let that stay,along with someone thinking he might had more of a health issue,not just gaining weight,from all his eating shows, nobody business but his. I then  decided to word it a bit different and that is why you are reading it,it was just  his actions  in having someone else eat the food,let them choose . Rather David  just present the food as when the pandemic was, think many of us  would understand his reasoning why not eating as we all have  heard low carb low sugar out of his mouth for awhile, understanding why he isn't eating many of the foods while on "ITKWD" ,so maybe we should be seeing more low carbs ,low sugar. items,showed by him.

Has any host ever said I don't like this. It desn't taste good. Every host on Gournet food shows just loves the product. I don't take their word for it I check reviews your hearing an honest opinion.
