Didn't watch. Was he coughing over the food or touching everything ? He could have stood back with a mask on and let the Reps do their thing .
QVC is ridiculous in having visibly sick people on air. Those with seasonal allergies usually Know to start taking meds abt 2 weeks earlier than the budding tree season begins or mulching their yards .

@Kachina624 ITA that he knew it wasn't a cold or flu. This is the first year the pollen is giving me a fit and I take an antihisitmine (OTC). We have rain every day this week. They're saying 5" and some flooding in areas, but it will wash away some of this dreaded yellow powdery stuff.

Regardless, if your eyes are dripping, you are spewing snot and hacking, I don't want to be around you. Period.
Ding, ding, ding.... We have a winner. I TOTALLY agree!!

I watched his entire show on Sunday and didn't notice anything unusual or out of the ordinary at all.
Funny how we can perceive things differently, viewing the exact same thing.

He did mention on one of his shows over the weekend that he has been sick and was sick almost his entire vacation.

Around 6 or so months ago, there was a grill TSV, and David had visible snot dripping from his nose during the presentation. A video was posted about it in the QVC Facebook groups.

I have always had fall allergies my entire life.
This is the first year my allergies are acting up in the spring.
Everything in Pennsylvania is covered in yellow pollen...the cars, picnic tables, window screens...everything.
This is a bad year. It has been raining, but the pollen has not stopped yet.
When I worked, everyone went to work sick. If you took too many days off and weren't in the hospital, you were let go.
Many people would throw up in their trash cans and keep on working. Someone was always coughing and blowing.
Two people that I knew personally, died in their office at work working overtime after hours.
I worked for a health insurance company...imagine that.
Not all employers are understanding. If you need your job, you might have to work while sick.

Oh @Kachina624 you are so right! I was sitting up front during our special music part of the service with tears streaming down my face. I had to reach under the pulpit to get a Kleenex. At least the camera wasn't on me!
Everyone thought the music was making me emotional. I didn't tell them it was just my allergies! LOL! But of course the music was wonderful!
The pollen count lately has been very high!

Then don't be around them.
Since covid, I've been pickier about how close I am to other people. I'm a bit paranoid too.
Yet, the only time I got sick was when I got covid from my 91 yr old dad. Luckily, I was vaxxed and had a light case so I tested negative in a few days.
I appreciate people who cover their mouths when they cough or sneeze and have a tissue over their nose when they blow.
I have nasty allergies. I'll sometimes mention it if I'm around others so they know I'm not contagious. I'm sure you'd call me a liar but I know more about me than you do.

my DH and I have been sick with coughing , started scratchy throat , proceeded to nose congestion then quickly to a hacking cough !! This has been going on for almost 3 weeks . First told it was bronchitis, then pneumonia, these were both urgent care our primary was out of town Saw our actual doctor Monday finally , and it's neither just very bad allergies which I've never had before . Had chest X-ray, lungs clear. Coughing is the worse , my ribs on the right side are all painful one is actually fractured from the violent coughing ! Cough meds not working . Had antibiotics in the beginng, but of course did nothing as it wasn't bacterial. Now have inhaler, and prescription cough pills .
im very careful about being around anyone sick and appreciate when someone tells me there sick so I don't go over there house . I ask if anyone is sick at holiday time as we have a full house over . we dont want them coming over if sick . People seem to think it's just a cold , I've had it for days I'm not contagious. Well not buying it .
last holiday time I was very sick twice !! I'm sick of being sick !
I dont feel David if should have come to work sick and if he had to then at least wear a darn mask 😷! And keep your distance . I remember years ago Marybeth used to get a bad cold every winter and she would come to work very obviously sick coughing . Would always say when you have kids you catch everything . I always felt sorry for the vendor working with her.
i hsbe worked with those thst co Erin sick before too claiming g they can't afford not to come in ...... people ca be so inconsiderate.
