How wonderful so many don't eat seafood!
More for me! My only thought on the issue. To each their own.

"Seafood is any form of sea life regarded as food by humans, prominently including fish and shellfish."
I have never, ever seen any definition of "sea food" that restricts and limits it to only shellfish.
Salmon is most definitely a seafood.

I don't watch David in the kitchen or elsewhere, so have no idea of his dietary preferences, and with all due respect, don't much care. Like all of us, he's free to choose his foods.

Right. Seafood is seafood. All shellfish is seafood but not all seafood is shellfish. Personally, there are some seafoods I don't care for, but I enjoy most of them and some are among my favorite dishes. So tasty when prepared well.

@I am still oxox I think you're thinking of "shellfish." Salmon is not shellfish.
But salmon is definitely seafood.

No one should be forced to eat something s/he doesn't like or to which s/he has an allergy or intolerance.
@Venezia I agree. Anyone who already doesn't want to taste something isn't at all likely to know whatever some version of it is good, bad, or just blah. There'd be no sense requiring a host to taste foods in a category they'd never eat at home or elsewhere!

I love salmon and catfish. Good for you , too.
Fry in peanut oil a piece of catfish breaded in cornmeal put on bun with Kraft miracle whip, salt and pepper to taste. That's fine eating.
Buy salmon , saute in I can't believe it's not butter (butter if it's no problem) just a tad of fake butter I got high cholesterol, but, taking pill for it. LOL
Brown it not like they do in fancy restaurants it's raw
just lightly brown. Really good and good for you.
I'm not Catholic by the way.
