David Venable-writer?

Last pm watching an episode of SeaQuest. One of the writers was David Venable.This episode was on in 1993. Do you know if this was QVC's DV? I Googled him and there was no mention of him writing TV episodes. Maybe I will try his Facebook.

@Group 5 minus 1 - There are several David Venables listed on IMDB and only one is recognizable as the David at QVC, so the shared name is just a coincidence. (And for what it's worth, the Q's DV has others help him write his own cookbooks, so it seems unlikely that he's working on separate writing projects.)
