He posted on Facebook that he will no longer do on air presentations, but just focus on designing.  Bitsy Jennings will be doing all the presentations. I liked David and will miss him.  He also said this gives him more time to spend with Gus.  I wish him well.

Re: David Dangle stepping back

I will miss David. He was a link to Joan Rivers and often explained back stories behind a design and its history with Joan. I know he will enjoy his work flexibility, and I wish him much happiness.

Joan Rivers fashion is dated and boring. I mean, how many big shirts does one person need!! Time for this line to retire.

Re: David Dangle stepping back

I personally like the line and don't think it should retire. It's much more upscale and well-made than say Kim Gravel's clothing. I'm sad that David Dangle won't be joining us anymore. But I hope the line continues for a long time.

@Oldfaithful Wonder? I'm not clear on what you mean but I think both are of an age they are ready to step down, retire or partial retirement, and enjoy more time with family and friends.

I retired one year ago. It took a lot of convincing from my husband. I did not want to. Now that I have, I realize that extra family time is far more important. I'm glad he convinced me. I assume that is what Carolyn and David are thinking. Only my assumption of course.

@Glitter51 A lot of people wear what you consider to be dated and boring.  Does that affect how you look at them or what you would say to them about how they dress?

I am dated and boring, but it's who I am.

@Glitter51  I think the Joan Rivers clothing is more classical than in your face. It is well made. There is something for everyone.
