Good for him. I know I haven't spent MY spare time writing a novel. 

My big plan for today is picking up a check from the consignment store and cashing it.

I'm always happy when someone achieves a goal.  Again, good for him.

A "fictionalized version of a true story" - always makes me wonder how much of the story is actually true, or how close the story hews to truth.  I'd rather read a true account of what happened than a fictionalized version.

There are a number of nonfiction articles about the event, "The Kidnaping of the Lunic" available on line, such as a detailed accounting in Popular Mechanics.

Information is available also on the CIA website including approved for release documents.

Thank goodness it is not ANOTHER memoir!!!  I am so tired of seeing the number of memoirs people write.  Just a quick way they think they will make $$$ .  Suppose some of them do.  I work in a library and memoirs are definitely flooding the shelves.
