@NYwoman ... I didn't know Carolyn and her husband have radio "gigs" in various forms. I follow her on her Facebook page and l don't recall her mentioning that. Do you have more details where l could listen to them? On a podcast?

I have read that she has been to North Carolina to see her parents on several occasions since she was laid off as well as getting together with friends from QVC. She also showed all her sweet doggies. 💖 In between keeping busy with her family and friends she came up with the idea of selling garden products...sold the idea to QVC and they accepted! Yes! Good luck to her! 😊

I understood that Carolyn and her husband have radio equipment in their home and he does some sort of radio work from there. I heard, at one time, that Carolyn did commercial lead ins for radio stations in other states. I never heard specifics. Radio work can be done remotely. One radio group says she does voice over work. Her husband used to be a producer.

Nothing is guaranteed in life. Stuff happens.

Getting laid off or fired happens, especially if one works for a large corporation. I wish everyone well but they aren't immune to what every other employee goes through.

I'll never understand why people get so riled up when a host leaves for any reason. They are not friends or even acquaintances. They are salespeople who happen to be on tv.

Ooops my mistake ( on his writing children's books)...

I thought I'd read, in the 452,000 "Poor Dan and Carolyn" posts since March 1, 2023, that he was writing "children's books"...

I like to be accurate....And it WOULD he hard to do that, ( write books) ...what with him having to live under a bridge on the PA Turnpike since his lay off.....especially after he "gave" his entire adult working life to propping up Qurate....for no renumeration even!!!!

Regarding his "books"....did HE publish them, or did a real publisher do so? BIG difference.

That's why he posts at 3AM....less traffic noise in the background under that overpass!!!

People were writing on Dan's posts about their disapproval of Carolyn bringing her line to Qvc. They should be the ones to shut their mouths. They will never give up letting everyone know they dont watch or purchase from qvc since Dan and Carolyn were terminated. I think they want a gold star.

Dan has stated on his personal page that he will not be returning to qvc in any capacity; his life his choice.

I have a family member who was one of the 400 let go. He actually worked at HSN. He got a one year severence paycheck; very generous. He is just under 50 years old and will have no problem getting another job, but probably not the same pay. He was paid very well by HSN.

He encouraged viewers to participate in his FB page when he left. He can very easily remedy the comments by deleting, or just making his page private.
