Re: Daily Mail Online QVC Story

@PearleeI'm not surprised at all.   It seems to me over the years thwre have been hundreds of posters objecting to models on USA Breezies presentations when those presentations are about as modest as anything I can imagine a lingerie session to be.

I suppose the many years I've lived on Long Island and spent some days on Fire Island have widened my horizons from where they were growing up in a small farm town in the 1950's, but no, I'm not surprised at all that a risque post was removed.  I bet someone younger than I am complained!

Re: Daily Mail Online QVC Story

The other thread was removed before I had a chance to read it but maybe the poster comments were deemed "riskay" (so funny) rather than the link? I didn't put in the link just in case it would cause a problem so I am not sure what was considered objectionable. But, yes, the Puritan sensibility is still alive and well in the colonies. Those who found the Breezies model too much would certainly not approve of these curvy girls on stage.

Re: Daily Mail Online QVC Story

The U.K. hosts are very 'hands-on' with the models wearing underwear. That would never happen here. And it looked as if the air conditioning should have been turned off for some of the models.

For some funny bloopers, go to youtube and check QVC bloopers. We all say things that could be taken the wrong way, and these video clips are pretty funny.

Re: Daily Mail Online QVC Story

English TV is much more relaxed in terms of language , I just finished watching a program on ITV where the F word and other words where not bleeped out.  Obviously they were integral to the story.  Here we can have anything gory but language is a no no.  Show was Unforgotten an amazing series

Interesting that PBS censors programs visually and verbally too
