@Tori3569  You probably don't see others admit it because they don't want to get a lecture about being irresponsible. Don't worry, I am sure there are many, many others in your position. You are just upfront about it. I think it takes courage to admit it and not be concerned about the lack of transparency.

@Tori3569 - I sometimes carry a balance on my Q Card, especially after an occasional splurge during a free shipping or holiday event, but I pay careful attention to all the minimum Easy Pays and make sure I never pay a dime of interest. It's an extra step, of course, but QVC actually simplifies things by providing a detailed list of ongoing Easy Pays in our order details. I definitely pay off the balances completely as soon as I can, but as long as I'm watching my individual charges, nobody's getting extra money from me.

And for a post related to the initial post, I also never get any of the codes. I used to get mailers from QVC but haven't seen one in a long time. Based on forum chatter, at least to me, it seems like there is a decent mixture of newer buyers and long-time buyers getting the promotions, so QVC may be trying to "spread the wealth." But it definitely stings when you'd like to get a better price on something but the special code is not valid for you.

Makes it more annoying  Not at you of course but QVC.

Normally order something and the reward is to wait forever to receive it.

You'd think their discount codes and free shipping offers would be to EVERYONE especially those that continue buying and waiting...and waiting...

No one is making us order but at least acknowledge those that do, throw us a bone for being so patient with this goofy company.

Well I know my husband doesn’t keep a balance on his Q Card.

In fact he doesn’t even like to use Easy Pays.


He has the Auto Pay set up to pay it in full if he has made any purchases during the month.


He mostly buys when he gets promotional deals, so that right there may be the “selective customer status“ one needs. 🥴

@50MickeyOne code per transaction usually means you can't combine the free shipping code with another code like a percentage off. It doesn't sound like once and you done at all at least not to me.

Well, I am one of the many customers that QVC has devalued. While other retailers attempt to woo me with offers, from QVC I get zilch. 

Between not being special, and items I do attempt to purchase having "you just missed it" status I came to the realization it's time for a break. It's not me, it's them.

I'm so weary of the games. There is not one thing from QVC the I actually need. Not clothing, not skin care, not shoes, not makeup, not home decor. 

So continue to see your viewership decline, continue to fail to retain customers. Bye, bye. It's been a fun run. Talk to me when you've got something for me...not from me.

I never seem to get any of their promotional cards, discounts, news or anything. 

HSN sends me more promotional codes and I use Q way more.

I guess they want me over there spending as much so they can thumb me down too. 😝 

I got one for HSN and forgot to apply it. I did it again and then remembered the code, cancelled the order and remade the purchase and applied it.

That would have never flew on the Q because the minute I place a Q order it puts it in process and then doesn't allow cancellation.

@Tori3569 I have a Q card and pay off my balance but I consider myself a "substantial " spender. Maybe you are right, they don't make money off me so therefore I have never received these mailings. I guess being a customer for 25 years doesn't matter. I will say that with my recent retirement my clothes buying will slow way down. Will still shop for shoes since buying wide width shoes doesn't happen at B&M stores. Also, Elemis pricing with autoship is a price I don't find elsewhere.
