There is absolutely no service. The one I purchased has been loading for more than 15 minutes. Tried to reach their support and it's a never-ending loop of options with no ability to speak with a human. I have tried two browsers. Tried to call to find out if this is normal and there is no ability to speak with someone and they won't cancel cards after they have been emailed.

I am now on hold with QVC's customer service, which I am sure won't be able to help since they don't sell their own gift cards. Lots of options out there for gifts and gift cards and QVC's isn't a good one.

Re: DON'T BUY A QVC GIFT CARD

I'm confused. You said the gift card was emailed, but not sold by QVC. Who sold it?

I've never had a problem using a gift card bought online through QVC, or a physical card bought in a store.

Perhaps if you email the social team at QVCSocialTeam@qvc.com they can assist you with your order.

@blondegirl I have purchased at least 25 gift cards in the past 10 years or so directly from QVC and have never had a problem.

Re: DON'T BUY A QVC GIFT CARD

You are right, QVC's gift card doesn't work like other gift cards. You can't pay for items just with the gift card. You have to apply the gift card amount to your account where it becomes a QVC credit. There is a delay in processing this.

Re: DON'T BUY A QVC GIFT CARD

i give QVC gift cards and purchase them for myself. i always buy the actual card rather than buy them online. my local post office sells them. have never had any issues with them.

Re: DON'T BUY A QVC GIFT CARD

I've received them as gifts, and I've also purchased when the Q has had a deal (previous deals such as $100 GC for $80).  I have always been able to use them without another payment.

Re: DON'T BUY A QVC GIFT CARD

they do not sell their e-gift cards directly. Cashstar sells them. Paypal gave me back my money already. QVC's customer service could not help and honestly, it's not something I would gift to anyone and then expect if they had issues they would go through the hassle this was.

Re: DON'T BUY A QVC GIFT CARD

I stopped buying QVC gift cards years ago.  Purchased thru QVC but come from someone else (third party).  The last time I ordered one was for my sister's birthday.  Ordered beginning of November for a mid-December birthday and she did not receive it on time.  No information could be given to me.  When it shipped, tracing, etc.  When I called QVC to try to help, they said they had no information and couldn't help and referred me back to other company where the gift card came from (QVC provided their phone number).  When I called, it was very difficult to get thru to anyone.  When I finally did, they could provide no information and wasn't any help.

Re: DON'T BUY A QVC GIFT CARD

I had trouble the last time that QVC did one of those gift card deals like "Spend $75, get $15 off like a year ago. The gift card wouldn't work. A lot of other people had trouble too. They told me to call the company that they actually sell the gift card through. That lead no where. I kept calling QVC back. Eventually it worked, I guess after so many people had trouble.

Re: DON'T BUY A QVC GIFT CARD

My daughter bought me an ecard for qvc and had no issue with using it. Sorry to hear that others had problems with their gift cards.
