DOLL FOUNDATION.............WHERE'S THE "SUNSCREEN"?

I ordered the TSV and ws shocked when I reallized that there is no "Sunscreen" in the Foundation!  ALL the foundations on QVC seem to have included that in their foundations and Doris Dalton as a "doctor" and "skin cancer survivor" you would have thought would have put that in her foundation!....I do have my own sunscreen and would imagine that I use this "before the foundation application"?....What do you think?

I use that foundation on occasion. It's good but you have to be careful & not use too much, unless you have a lot to cover.I either mix it with a little sunscreen before applying or I use a moisturizer with SPF underneath it.

Doris had thyroid cancer. That being said, I also thought it would have  been good to have it include a mineral sunscreen.

Sunscreen in a foundation is never enough protection. It would be a nice plus but no substitute for using sunscreen underneath.

@SweetSpice

I ALWAYS used a moisturizer with SPF, so whether the foundation has any or not, it really doesn't matter.

Personally, I'd rather choose my own SPF, so I know what I'm getting.

If sunscreen is important to you, I will assume you already have that in your makeup stash ... right?

@SweetSpice Although it is nice to have sunscreen in our foundation, I'm not sure why you believe ALL QVC foundations have sunscreen. Searching "foundation" there are 178 but only 33 have sunscreen. Perhaps you are thinking of BB and/or CC creams? These have sun protection.

I use a tinted CC cream with sunscreen and rarely need foundation. However, when I do, I will just put foundation over the CC cream.

Makeup with sunscreen does not provide adequate protection.  Better than nothing, but inadequate.

I add sunscreen to my skin before putting on foundation.

I read somewhere that sunscreen added to foundation really doesn't work very well. I don't remember the reason why but I just figured that I would add it separately.

Plus I will put sunscreen all over my face and neck. I only add a few dots of foundation to my cheeks.

I love her foundation as it does not oxidize and two hours later look like paste on my face from sunscreen. I hope she never changes her formula. Not only does it not settle in fine lines but it makes my complexion look perfect.👍 Best foundation I have ever used in the 50+ years I have worn makeup.💕

it contains titanium dioxide, which serves not only as a great opacity maker but also a sunscreen.

Note the spf of this product is only 33.
