I wonder how many new customers will order more than once or twice after they find out how long shipping takes

The only time I pay for shipping here is if it's a TSV I really want and shipping is not included. Other than that I wait for a free shipping day (and no my prices haven't increased those days unless it was an expired Luncheon Special) or I buy brands that already offer free shipping.
I have been charged shipping on Amazon even though I'm a Prime member. I only get free shipping at Kohl's because of the amount I've spent in the past to qualify as a MVP customer. I need to reach $99 to get free shipping at Land's End, a store that certainly plays ping-pong with their prices. Target would sometime offer free shipping to Red Card users, or sometimes require a minimum, and they don't ship all items to your door.
Am not about to get my panties in a twist because someone else is offered something I'm not. That's life. I either decide if I'm fine with the total price of an item or not. How often do posters write that they've received an email for an unexpected one day $5 or $10 credit to their account? Do others then start a dozen threads to complain?
You can spend your life pouting, stomping your feet, and holding your breath lamenting how unfair you're being treated and you're never shop here again (and boy haven't we read that before) or you can just live life. They're trying something new. Perhaps it will work, perhaps not.

And that's how long existing customers have to wait for free shipping?!! That is total BS.
Time to wipe out wish list, why wait now for free shipping day, could be 2nd quarter of next year.

There are so many other places to shop with better service. I continue to be amazed by the "loyalty" shown by so many posters here.
If, or IMO when, QVC goes under it will be its own fault for not offering what so many other retailers do.

I suppose I could be sneaky, if it was important enough (NOT), and cancel my account, open a new one in DH's name or a ficticous one with a different email address...have several for business, etc. It just doesn't change the bad service, poor quality, slower shipping time, lack of variety......
The new customers will only last a short while while the ones who watched/purchased for 30 yrs. will drift away, IMHO.

Just find a friend or your spouse, or adult children that are not members have them set up an account and order from that and take the advantage of the free shipping...boom done

Amazon gives me free shipping because I pay money dollars for a subscription. It's not really free.
At my current rate of purchasing, free shipping through January is worth about $85 to me. That's just not enough to get my blood pressure up today.
