Bob Mackie was making jackets and all sort of fashion on QVC using his version of scuba as far back as 2016. You can see one version on youtube under:
The fashion brand Vince had scuba dresses at least 20 years ago.
Lisa Robertson even brought a scuba dress to QVC under GILI.
The material has been around for a long while, just slightly different percentages of the polyester and other fabrics.

It's a big seller, but I don't think KG set a record with her TSV today. As others posted, there were bigger TSV's in the past in various categories. I think both D & Co. and SG sold tons of their fashion TSVs years ago.

I think IMAN actually had a record of selling her palazzo pants on HSN back in the day, at which time I actually bought a bunch. They were a foiled print and the other was a solid. Hundreds of thousands and sold out before 9am. It was a ridiculous amount of sales for HSN, and if I recall reading in blogs back then and market sites at the time, it was (I believe) a record.

Scuba luxe is the cheaper version material(s) used in scuba diving suits. Don't let the name fool ya.

If she is helping to save the Q, that's good for us, meaning those if us who don't enjoy or cannot shop at brick n mortar stores! So, all good even though I am not ordering!

Amazing. I find her clothes just so so and way over priced.

I'll tell you what the record is that she set, but

Scuba dive suits are made of neoprene. Scuba luxe material used for clothing doesn't have any neoprene. The only thing they have in common is the name 'scuba'. They are not the same kind of material.
