Yes, I bought a couple of items because of the free shipping. I think QVC did this to please, somewhat, their existing customers. There probably will be one or two more free shipping weekends before the holidays are over.

I was thinking the same thing that we may be seeing some more free shipping days during the holiday shopping period.

Yes, the free shipping and 10% cash back on Rakuten really influenced my decision to buy.

I didn't have plans this weekend, so I really focused on getting holiday lists in order.  I also spent a lot of time browsing certain categories on the website (makeup, shoes, holiday food items, etc.) and made lists from there.

I do have a wishlist, but I didn't buy anything from it.  I only bought one thing for myself and that was a pair of the Skechers they presented a few times this weekend.  It was a great deal and I love Skechers.

My older daughter had a few things from Amazon on her Christmas List. I was able to compare the value between Amazon and QVC.  Believe it or not, buying some of these items from QVC was better than making the purchase from Amazon. That's because Amazon doesn't allow for Rakuten.  You can't beat the 10% cash back deal.  QVC was even a few dollars off the Amazon price on certain items.

Since the shipping charge is back in place for us "regulars," I will stop my QVC purchases and look to other stores instead.  I am happy with what I bought and it did help me to take a chunk out of my holiday shopping, so I should be good for a while.

I dont get hysterical over Q's shipping charges, I find them minimal.  If I want something and shipping is not included I will buy it.

Yes, Free Shipping did it for me along with sale/clearance pricing on the Q and HSN.

I have been ordering almost nothing from QVC over the past 6 months, but ordered a Diamonique ring and an IT shadow stick duo that I use daily.

On HSN I re-ordered a ring that I had returned as the value was not there. Too $$$.

At half price on clearance and f/s, it is coming back to me. Maybe even the same ring I had returned as it was the only one in inventory in my size.

I also purchased 2 items seen on air on QVC from AMZ and WM as they cost less and f/s from those sites. Way faster shipping, too and easier, free returns, although I do not plan to return either item.

Nope, didn't buy anything. I did price shop a couple of items and found them for less money at other places.

Seeing your post and others about HSN purchases is making me more curious than ever.  I've never purchased on HSN, maybe I should look at their website?!

@rockygems123 I was in your boat.  I had never purchased from HSN until they became affiliated with QVC, or should I say owned by the same company.  Still, since then I think I ordered perhaps 3 things.  I am still mostly a QVC shopper.  

I will say, HSN seems to have better prices and deals and I receive frequent emails with coupons and % off deals.
