I don't understand the "pricing game" QVC plays, but it's a good way to lose customers!!

I want a Blink extention camera, (E233815 Blink XT2 Expansion Camera), but couldn't afford it at the time. It was listed as $69.98 for one camera. I put it in my FAVORITES so I don't forget. While it's been saved, it went up in price. I think it was $109.00 or like that. NOW... it's $124.97 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good grief QVC!!!!!!! Lose any customers lately? Amazon sells one camera for $89.99. Please, get a clue!

Lots of sale or event prices are only temporary.

You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

@Tangocash

There's a method to what looks like madness.  All of it is to get us to buy.

The introductory (new products) are always lower than the QVC price that goes up usually in a few days.  The $69 may have been the introductory price.

Then there are the TSV prices.

One day only prices are for one day only.

Sale prices might only last a day.

Yes, their prices frequently change.

It's to keep us glued to our TV sets and/or the website.

You may never see the Blink go on sale or clearance, but you might.

The TSV ladder at $89. It went up to $149 for a few weeks.  It's back down to $89 on clearance.

I've been eyeing a Christmas decoration that's priced at $139 since July.  One day it was $119, the next back up to $139 where it stayed at that price.  I think it's overpriced at $139 and $119 and $20 shipping.  A few days ago I began looking on the net for the manufacturer.  When I found it, I saw this item sold at Home Depot for $105, free shipping, sold out now. I would have purchased it from Home Depot.  I usually do comparison shopping, but missed on this one.

If you see a price change, call CS for their 30 day price guarantee to see if you can get the lower price.

I love Amazon but their prices change too and with less predictability.

I have seen on eBay claims of new Isaac Mizrahi tops at very low prices?  How can they for such low pricing?

@Betsey Ross

Some ebay sellers buy lots of clothing from retailers at very low prices that didn't sell.  TJ Maxx, Marshalls, and Ross do the same thing.  Also, they buy manufacturers' overruns.

However, you need to get measurements before buying.  Some of this clothing is sized wrong, may have defects, returns, etc.  Many sellers mention defects and show them in their photos.

Some QVC buyers may sell their own new clothing at lower prices than they paid for them.  Decided they didn't like, gained, lost weight, or never wore.  The lower prices reflect what ebay buyers will pay.  These sellers lose money, but they got some of their money back rather than nothing giving to a thrift store.
