I woke up from the early part of my weird sleep pattern just in time to see Courtney’s announcement that her last show is Saturday morning. If she has been fired, I have to say she is one incredible actress. There wasn’t a false move in her face or her body, absolutely no tension visible or audible.
my money says Courtney is joining with her family. Before the pandemic, a long-distance relationship was hard enough to sustain but now with travel so much more iffy, it must be exponentially more difficult. She does seem like a host many would relate to, but I am pleased she seemed so happy with her decision.

Too many hosts leaving, with many having to work extra hours. It will be interesting to see where the Q is in one year, who is left, and how programming changes.
Like the Jimmy Buffet song says,
"Changes in attitude, changes in latitude, nothing remains quite the same......."

Was she at QVC for very long? I've never heard of her but from what I've read about her she seems way too accomplished to be shlepping qvc merchandise.

Well QVC has lost another really good host! I really hate to see her leave, she was very very good.....I sense that she is very ambitious, and maybe QVC wasn't the fit for her. Time will tell.....Best of Luck to her, I really enjoyed her shows....

Very sorry to see her go. I thought she was great - very calm, very watchable. I wish her the best of luck in the future.

From "Philadelphia" online article:
You also have a full-time job. How do you balance your two roles?
I’ve been a television host for QVC since September of 2018 and it has been a dream. I put a lot of my mental energy into it, not only because I love what I do, but because my full-time job helps me fund my other passion, skeleton. This February was the first time I told QVC that I had to physically leave the area in order to go train, and they supported it. I know doing so was a huge sacrifice because QVC is a 24/7 network, but they admired my dedication and worked with my schedule.

Some are always so negative and matter of factly proclaim she was fired! If she had been fired she would have been gone with no goodbyes!!

When Jill Bauer and Sharon Faetsch left with similar explanation many, many posters said matter of factly that both were let go, despite both having on air farewells.

Good for her, I wish her much happiness in future endeavors. Like Sharon and Jill she has made a wise decision. No way do I believe she was fired.

@Johnnyeager "said matter of factly that both were let go"...did they say how they knew that?
