No she is not looking for gifts. She is just sharing as any other excited bride would do. I am very happy for her and enjoy her when she is hosting. Very pretty woman also. Why do some people have to put a negative spin on things.

What is this need or desire to have people who don't know you, to share your private or family moments. QVC hosts are not my family nor are they close personal friends. Qvc is a company out there to make money. The charity work they do is good cause and everyone should respect and admire that aspect of their company. We and they(QVC) should be respectful of one another. But I am not interest in their private lives.I do not watch endless home shopping channels, thereby getting a false impression that the hosts are my friends. They may be caring and loving individuals but I have no interest in their private lives.

Speaking as someone who made a career out of marketing I couldn't agree more. This idea that allowing the customer to infiltrate the personal lives of the hosts via social media is silly nonsense. I know QVC has thousands of people following their hosts on Facebook etc., but I would have to see sales numbers to believe that any of this has positively impacted their purchasing decisions. My hunch is seeing pictures of hosts homes, vacations, weddings, and newborn babies is not what the majority of customers desire before they actually shop which should be QVC's first and primary goal.

Why would anybody want a wedding video of Courtney?
Using the hosts personal lives as marketing is very bizarre...

Three words: Jeff and Judy.
While the marketing aspect is pretty seductive, there's a downside to this kind of open door to our lives storytelling.
QVC has done enough market research to know that a majority of their customers want to know more about the hosts. Hosts who don't want to share seem perfectly able to draw a line; others enjoy participating in social media.
Me? I don't see the harm in this as long as it's okay with Courtney.

In today's world don't think they care about Jeff and Judy. They'd probably market off a split. There isn't a viewer that doesn't wish Courtney the best on her wedding. I think it's sad to think there are so many lonely people out there that they hang on every action of a QVC host. Would you be so interested in a sales person at Macy's wedding? QVC needs to focus on bringing new products. How about another 50/50 tour. Spend your marketing money somewhere else. I do feel it's the hosts choice on whether they market off their lives. I'd worry about stalking of events in my life.

Oh, good grief -- that is a HUGE understatement. Her over-inflated ego and her obnoxious personality are just going to get worse, if that's possible. I agree -- enough already with Courtney -- period.
