Oh brother........next will come the ""baby speculation"".................

Since they are already living together and have been for some time, I imagine they already have what they need, and this is all for publicity and Qvc sales. Sad, really.

Maybe the Q issued an ultimatum to fit in with their policy of "proper coverage"

I am sure she is a lovely girl and I wish her luck but I really don't care to hear about her wedding. It has nothing to do with me.

ITA. I was thinking the exact same thing. And you would think these people were the first ones to ever get engaged, get married, or have a baby. Too much. I watch very little of the Q anymore.

I've enjoyed hearing about Gabrielle's baby boy and Amy's little girl. A wedding is a wonderful event and I hope that Courtney and her fiancee will have the most wonderful life together, but I don't see any need for us to be involved. It's not our wedding! I would like to see photos of the event, but I don't plan to vote on anything.
I think it's totally wrong for QVC to try to involve their customers in something that is really a very private, personal event. These people, no matter how wonderful, are not our friends and we are remarkably insignificant part of their lives.
I have to agree with your thoughts & comments....![]()

QVC continues to jump the shark with regard to all the social media, Q 'family', in your face hosts/vendors and hosts as friends tripe. Really, it's all to promote sales and create a distraction from the fact that they just continue to push the same tired stuff out there day in and day out... You'd think at some point the PTB would realize it might just be easier, more effective and less costly in the long run to simply rethink their business plan and offer us a little more variety rather than to continue promoting hosts, lousy programming and phony 'friendships'.

I'd also speculate that for whatever reason they're doing everything they can to hook us in to Courtney... Clearly, from reading the boards, Courtney has her fans but she also has quite a few detractors, or folks who seem not to care much for her. Again, for whatever reason, they're clearly trying to 'push' this young woman, whether it be by pairing her with Lisa Robertson every chance they get or by promoting her wedding. It would appear you can bet they plan to keep her around and in the limelight.

They obviously are priming her to be the next "Lisa Robertson". I remember when hosts wouldn't even mention the date of their wedding or exact date of birth of a baby. To me it seems as though the hosts have a choice in all this promotion. Gabrielle, was more low key with the birth of her baby. Amy was out front about it all. This all started with Shawn's wedding and the hoopla. QVC constantly pushes the "friends" aspect of their sales. IMHO a wedding should be shared with family and your "real" friends. I wouldn't want all the hoopla. But Courtney sees how many facebook friends Shawn & Amy acquired through it all. Translates to dollars when her contract is up. So whether it's QVC's or Courtney's bottom line it's all about the money.
