Re: Courtney Getting Married

I think this over sharing of a host's wedding is in poor taste and poor judgement, on the part of qvc, as well as the couple who is allowing themselves to be used, to try and increase sales on a tv shopping channel. This is really kind of sad.

Re: Courtney Getting Married

Why would anyone be interested in planning the wedding of a total stranger - unless it's your business and being paid, The whole idea is just so silly to me. Who cares?

Re: Courtney Getting Married

i must say i prefer the days of QVC as a living catalogue to the incarnation of QVC as your new best friends showing you how to live, dress, etc. -- to now in=your=face Reality TV - including the cult of personality thing going on with Lisa. nothing against any of the hosts. i just miss a time when privacy was a lovely thing to be guarded zealously.

ITA not to mention the lonely viewers who will be sending their "friend" a wedding gift.

If that happens, I hope QVC and Courtney will send those back to the customer.

Like milly said, Paul was divorced before he started dating Judy. It's incorrect to paint Judy as the happy homewrecker.

( happy homewrecker would be a nice counterpart id to the happy housewife. )

Yes, I was going to say the same thing. Judy was single for a while before she and Paul became involved. And they were discreet about the whole thing. And if I'm not mistaken, after Paul and his wife were either separated or divorced, he left for Florida. Judy was still at the Q.

Well put. I would not want to share weddings and pregnancies with the world. It is sad. Our culture is going down the tubes.
