First, I'm not going to lose any sleep over the comment I heard Courtney make while discussing item A261610 Pulleez Set of 3 Metal Charm Ponytail Holders. I typically don't comment much on these forums but think hosts should be careful about remarks. She put a scrunchie in her hair to make a point on how much better the Pulleez ponytail holders are than the scrunchie and how they look. She said in reference to the scrunchie wearing that it's like something you would see in a Jazzercise video. No, I'm not a Jazzercise instructor but am an avid member. Again, it's not the end of the world with that comment but it caught my attention & certainly wasn't a complimentary comment for Jazzercise. BTW, side bar... the Jazzercise of the 80's is nothing like it is now including the workout clothes so the comment was also ill-informed. My perception in how she comes across by comments she makes many times is trying too hard to be "hipster" or trendy. I'm sure no malice was intended, maybe a training item for hosts.

What some will just find it necessary to run and post about!! How can anyone take offense at that. She was selling a product and the object of selling is to make the item seem better than what has rountinely been used!! I don't see how it was uncomplimentary. I taught baton and would use scrunchies as well as the twirlers would and I certainly would not take offense if she would have singled out twirlers. That is what was available that wouldn't break hair off as hair needed to be out of the way.

There are hosts that are well spoken and graceful........and then there's Courtney.

My friend had them and she wears them as bracelets because they don't really work.

Though not the end of the world, I do agree with the OP. Its about appealling to the young and to heck with everybody else.

@Pook Posted my opinion & never used the word offended. I qualified my response by saying "not end of the world" but didn't think it was best way to present the item. Check out the video from last night for the item. Again, my opinion only & I don't make a habit of "run and post about" much at all on here or posting negative comments. Again, only my opinion, which is what forums are about.

@KathyPet I simply posted my opinion & if you read it closely, I went out of my way to say that it wasn't the end of the world, never used the word 'offended'. If you notice, I hardly post much on these forums. However, I believe in being respectful when posting, which I do believe I was. It's OK for everyone else to post about what they want... including your post about why I'm posting about this issue. That's what these forums are about....opinions. I wasn't heavy handed but made my observations based on my perceptions. Not everyone will agree which is fine.

She was probably using the comparison to something dated & out of style since the 80's to get those that haven't noticed that Scrunchies are old, to buy the newer hair pulls.

I guess I just don't understand the reason for the post! My post was my perception of how OP comes across with the post and that is that she is upset because she is a jazzerciser! I would think you would want your hair off your face for that so what Courtney was saying is that the product was better than a scrunchie. Makes sense to me!!
