If there is a tracking number, you can copy and paste it into google. 

The shipper (USPS?) will allow you to create notifications by text or email for updates.

It has been my experience that the package seems to arrive more quickly once I do this.

BTW it is headed to your part of the world. Near the DFW airport! I loved to teach, also.

It meant the order has gone from sales, to accounting, to the warehouse for shipment, where I used to work.
