I am curious why the host of PM Style want her models to wear mikes. This is what is done on Inspired Style. Why be a copycat on the same night, with two of the same models? Should this be allowed? Just asking.

I don't see anything wrong with it.  The models are often interacting with the host and vendor, but you can't hear what they're saying, so it has to be repeated.  The models have opinions and they're regulars, just like the presenters, so why not give them mikes?

It's better than thinking "what did she say?" and hearing half of a conversation.  JMO.

I can't see why it makes any difference one way or the other, at least for me.

I think the models should always wear mikes if possible!  I enjoy hearing what they are saying!Woman Wink

I agree, it makes for a more interesting show.

I doubt that it's the host's decision to have the models wear mics.

Many of the models have been regulars on QVC for many years, and some viewers feel like they "know" them, in a way.  I think those viewers want to hear what those models have to say, since they are real people and have opinions too.

I like it, especially when they are commenting on size or fit.

My preference is NO microphones for the models. It’s okay for Inspired Style because that’s set up for model/host interaction and it’s just one show. If it becomes a regular thing I will watch less and less because it’s too hard to get information and it just gets too loud.

Shawn mentions every week that she would like the models to wear mics.  I really don't care either way.  They just answer silly questions.  I seldom watch an entire show.
