Maybe the reason JT works 24/7 is because her husband told QVC he needed some quiet time........

If they read these boards, why is Jane Treacy still here? And why is she on 24/7?

I don't watch much Q  much at all anymore..and cannot bear JT. That said, she obviously has great Sales or she would never remain in prime time on several times a week.

Just imagine how much better Jane could be if she dropped all the family nonsense talk?

I agree with you. @San Antonio Gal  She is way over the top with the daughters. We all know other people don't want to hear ad nauseum about our children, vacations etc. She knows that too, but she has a captive audience, so she goes for it.

All of us have reasons we do what we do. Jane has issues (as we all do) so, she either can't control the impulse to go on and on, or she just doesn't care. I have seen other hosts react to her bringing up her daughter’s. It’s subtle but I could see they recognize it too.

I do think Jane is an excellent host. She describes the product, and she creates a visual with her descriptions.

I have had made suggestions over time.  Not sure anyone really pays attention on the corporate end. And none are nasty or single out hosts or vendors.

1.  Add more presentations per hour so hosts have more to do that are related to explaining the products.

2.  Avoid trying to identify with us personally,  as in sharing stories of themselves that really do not add to the product descriptions.

That simple. And only getting worse.

Why can't more posters be like yours , not mean just suggestions that you think can help the viewing experience. I think everyone forgets who actually running the shows , the producers , they could stop anything they don't like . They have bosses and have to meet sales.

The story telling and friendship building isn't going to stop.  It's going to grow, as part of Qurate's "Project Athens" turnaround plan:

  • Improve Customer Experience and Grow Relationships. In its followup to the appointment of Mike Fitzharris as president of QVC US and Rob Muller as president of HSN, Qurate is doubling down by positioning QVC as the premier experiential retailer for women over 50 who love to shop; and HSN as a destination for 40-plus boutique shoppers looking to celebrate their uniqueness and individuality.

@johny   They are in dream land.  This is why sales are down.  I don't know anyone at Amazon, but they get 95% of my business.  I hate to say this, but IMO Q is going to fail!

Re: Complaints and Requests to Qvc

My number one reason for not shopping anymore would be the hosts.  Haven't purchased anything for well over a year.    Rightly or wrongly that is my reason.   I do like a few of their brands but refuse to give in to their childishous of the hosts.
