I was thinking the Community Chat was  'chat' format, not a topic format like this one.  Otherwise I'm with the oh well crowd, I open the forum and then click on View all Forum Topics.....everything with something new comes up no matter what the actual forum is.  The only individual forum I usually open (and I open it first) is Pet Lovers.

Looks like it, though I don't know how cutting out just one category/page cuts down on that much "maintenance."

That said...never did understand the difference between "Among Friends" and "Community Chat"...maybe they thought both weren't needed.

Let's face it, we're lucky they've kept the boards at all...for all the policing that needs to be done and the QVC criticism, I sometimes wonder why they do. But I follow certain threads and I do get good buying info, whether on Q or for elsewhere. Maybe they think for all the good and bad, it keeps their customer base "engaged" and it seems most businesses look for ways to do that these days.

@Patriot3   After reading your post today I tried to click on CC and nothing. I agree either it's gone or another software issue on their part.

Comm Chat is still there but getting it to load on my screen takes forever. Forget it.

They add InsideQ for Mally and take away the biggest and most popular

Community Chat. I won't even look at InsideQ and won't watch a cackling

show.

It is not gone you just have to wait several minutes before it comes in then you can only click on one thread and comment, then start all over with the wait time if you leave that thread.  Incredibly boring but I have been posting over there this week.

It's gotten even worse for me.  Not only can I not get into the forum as a whole at all, now when I try to reply to a post I accessed from my notifications, it takes several minutes for the reply to post.

@geezerette   Definitely another issue resulting from older software and outdated equipment.

You'd think w/ HSN added on, there'd be an effort to make shopping easier, but even getting to that part of the site is difficult.

It is basically gone.  It wouldn't be so bad if responding to a thread didn't kick you out.

@beckyb1012 ,  I agree that it has been possible to get back to Community Chat, with patience!  But a hassle.

The worst thing about CC being less readily accessible, is that some of the few combative posters who previously seemed to have been very attracted to Community Chat, now have expanded their reach to other topic categories that always tended to have considerate posters, for the most part.
